Newport Harbor 2,NEWPORT BEACH — Sergio Rodriguez scored the equalizer with a minute remaining in regulation and the Sailors rallied from two goals down to tie in the Sunset League opener for both teams Wednesday.

Ulises Vega also scored for the Sailors (6-4-3) and Danny Gonzalez played strong on defense, saving a goal and making a tackle to prevent a breakaway in overtime.
