High School Roundup: Luke Lastra’s late field goal sends Marina past Segerstrom

Luke Lastra kicked a short field goal in the final minute to give the Marina High School football team a 24-23 win over host Segerstrom on Friday in a Big 4 League opener.
Marina (3-5, 1-0) won the game without an offensive score. Joseph Ingrao had two interceptions, including one that was returned for a touchdown. He also recovered a blocked punt for another score.
Lastra also returned an interception for a touchdown for the Vikings, who play host to Garden Grove (6-2, 1-0) next Friday.
Ocean View 26, Godinez 6: Frankie Armenta had three passing touchdowns to lead the Seahawks past the Grizzlies on Friday in a Pac 4 League opener at home.
Anthony Ramirez surpassed 100 rushing yards for the game, adding a receiving touchdown. Luke Crabtree and Jose Cholula also had a receiving touchdown apiece.
Nick Flum and Anthonie Padilla reeled in interceptions for Ocean View (3-5, 1-0), which plays at Laguna Beach (7-1, 1-0) next Friday.
Santa Ana 59, Estancia 7: Andrew Coyotzi scored a rushing touchdown for the Eagles in Friday’s Orange Coast League game at Estancia High.
Estancia (4-4, 1-2 in league) hosts Calvary Chapel (4-3, 0-2 entering Saturday) on Oct. 22.
