CLEVELAND, Tenn. — Junior forward Jordan Davidson had a goal and an assist to pace the Lions in the opening round of the Lee tournament on Thursday.

No. 16-ranked Vanguard (4-0) took a 4-0 lead including goals from Rachel Rucireta, Amanda Couch and Alexandra Okida.

Lauren Terry made two saves for Vanguard, which has now outscored its opponents, 16-1, this season.

Olivet Nazarene of Illinois, is 4-1.
